1. How do I place an order?

You can place an order directly through our website by selecting the desired items and adding them to your cart. Choose any customisations you wish, choose your delivery or pickup date and follow the instructions for payment.

2. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept various payment methods including credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), PayPal, and other secure online payment options like Apple Pay.

 

3. How far in advance should I place an order for a custom cake?

Custom cake orders should be placed at least 5 in advance to ensure we have enough time to create your perfect cake.

4. Do you offer delivery services?

Yes, we provide complimentary delivery for all orders within Birkhill. However, for basic orders we do not offer delivery.

As for custom cake orders, we extend our free delivery service throughout Dundee. For custom cake orders beyond Dundee, a mileage fee is applied to the final invoice, calculated based on the delivery address.

5. Can I pick up my order instead of having it delivered?

Absolutely! You can choose to pick up your order at our bakery location during our business hours. Please select the pickup option during checkout. If you require a different pickup time or date, please don't hesitate to contact us, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.

6. What is your cancellation policy?

For regular orders, cancellations can be made up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery or collection date for a full refund. In extenuating circumstances, we may allow cancellations within the 48-hour period, in which case a credit note will be issued for future orders. Custom cake orders cannot be canceled, but the date can be changed if requested at least 3 in advance.

7. Can I make changes to my order?

Yes, you can make changes to your order. For regular orders, please contact us as soon as possible to make any changes. For custom cakes, changes should be requested at least 3 days before the scheduled delivery or pickup date. For changes in quantity, where the new quantity is less than originally ordered, a credit note will be issued for the difference.

8. How do I change the delivery or pickup date for my custom cake order?

If you need to change the delivery or pickup date for your custom cake, please contact us at least 3 days before the originally scheduled date, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

9. Do you accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies?

Yes, we offer options for various dietary restrictions and allergies. Please inform us of any specific requirements at the time of ordering. While we take utmost care to avoid cross-contamination, our kitchen processes various allergens, and we cannot guarantee that our products are completely free from traces of allergens.

10. Do you offer Gluten-Free Options?

Unfortunatelly our kitchen is very small, and we cannot guarantee that the products we make will be 100% free of traces of gluten. For the safety of our customers, we have decided not to offer this option at this time.

11. What should I do if I am not satisfied with my order?

Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not happy with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your cake, and we will do our best to resolve the issue.
